Greetings,

What have Pawn Shops to do with Religion? Read on Pilgrim.

Pawn Shops are the last resort for people
needing some quick cash, without having good relationship with a Bank. Ususally poor
and un-educated people. They get loans on their Jewelry, Gunns, TV Sets, etc. etc.
These things are appraised at 25% of actual value and they pay up to 400% interest per year. Naturally most of the items are never
re-claimed because of the prohibite interest rate. Exploitation, some would say.

These Pawn Shops are usually found in poor neighborhoods. The poorer the neighborhood,
the more Pawn Shops.

The same relationship exists with Churches.
The poorer the area, the more Churches. Exploitation, some would say. Keep in mind that going to Church is not cheap in the USA.

One other thing that you will find in poor areas. Lot's of DOGS. They don't have enough to eat, but must have those dogs.

In Summary: You can tell that you are in a very poor area if you see a lot of Pawn Shops, Churches, and Dogs.

Now you know.

Bill, your ignorance of real life is beginning to give me a case of indigestion. _____________________________________________ Fact 1. One of the largest and most used PAWN SHOP is located on Rodeo Drive, Holloywood, Ca. _____________________________________________ Fact 2. More churches are located in and around prosperous neighborhoods than any place else in the world. _____________________________________________ Fact 3. Silicon Valley has more pets than Las Vegas, Nev. _____________________________________________ In my own town there are three areas where homes begin at 92k and go to 1.6 mil. There are five major churches split between them. There are also three areas where homes begin at about 45k and go to 75k-poor neighborhoods. There is only two churches for these poor souls. But, there is only one small pawn shop in town, owned and operated by a local deputy. Our peoblem: 18 service stations; four truck stops; 32 garages that keep going in and out of business; 11 resturants and fast food joints all with horrible tasting food; one supermarket that is always too crowded; 10,000 boaters, 10,000,000 motorcycle riders-I own five (motorcycles, that is), and a kagillion visitor from all over the world. Funny part, I can go days without seeing or hearing a dog. Peace

Greetings Nonson,

I lives in Texas. You needs to move here, and you would know what I is talking about.

In Texas, we have more Churches than in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Cheh Republic,
Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Yogoslavia, Bosnia-Hercogovina, Be-Ne-Lux countries,
Grece, Albania, Rumania, Bulgaria, England,
combined.

The Pawn Shops are only in poor areas. Loose dogs, ditto.

This is not hyperbole either. I knows what I is talking about.

Good Luck.
