Why is it that people who unquestioningly believe in the existence of GOD, for whom there is NO evidence, have such a difficult time believing in the possibility of extra-terrestrial life, for which there is plenty of evidence?

garth, don't listen to ukeman, hes just 19 years old boy.
and as for evidence, how much research have you done on this topic? let me add this, evidence that you didn't see. This is just "one" of few of my "evidences". My mother was going to die, doctors told my fathers that there is nothing they can do, and that she may die shortly as the next day, we prayed and my mother did not die. Doctors were amazed. This is just one of mine, it may not seem like fire coming from the sky, but it opened eyes for few doctors |

Hi BenCa,
Don't get me wrong. By "evidence", I mean visible and quantifiable proof of existence. I have seen many video tapes and photos of UFO's. There have been numerous interviews and books written by very qualified and respected people. This all is evidence to me. On the other hand, the existence of God is only supported by faith. There is NO concrete proof of his/her existence. Are we to believe our eyes and senses or not? Personally, I have no problem with anyone believing in God or Allah or whatever. What irks me is the fact that these believers in good are the same people that have caused the most evil. Whatever you choose to worship iin the privacy of your own home is your business. BUT, when I get accosted on the street by so called "soul saviors", I get extremely pissed off and the only way for me to blow off this steam is on these boards. Stay true to whatever beliefs you hold sacred. ------------------ "Free your mind and the rest will follow..." -En Vogue |
