If there is a God and God is so good, then why do people suffer, esp. good people?

I've questioned that myself, and couldn't find an answer... But maybe it is a test? So those that even in worst conditions will not commit any sins, will then live in heaven?

But... Bible says there is a limited amount of people who will actually get to heaven...

I have an answer after much thought. Maybe evil is a test or building of character...to see what you are made of...or it is to show what true good is....Someone treats you badly..well..you know what is good because you know what that person did was not right. this is not an entire analysis.

I was eating Mexican food and I had a thought. I thought I would share my thoughts with you guys. It came to me in a vision. Ahhhh...The angels in heaven were singing..Not really but in a movie the affects would be really cool. So, Why do people suffer? Here is a thought. If a person suffers and things suddenly get better, then things are much easier for him or her. It is kind of being bound by a chain. The person struggles against the chain , wanting to be released. Once the chain is releases, the person is stronger and can handle many more responcibilities. So, maybe for some, it means that they have a grander purpose in life and that their chains were to make them stronger. Like, if someone has headaches all of the time, it is hard to do anything. Really hard to do anything. Suddenly, the headaches are gone and life is much easier and it is easier to function. If we are put it in the worse case scenarios in life and we learn to handle themk, then when things are back to normanl..they are easy. All things are relative to what you are comparing to. Right! Yeppy! I answered the purpose of my own question. Life is so grand!

I really don't know why I opened this religious bord today because I am as far from religion as possible and I certainly do not think about angels in heaven. Hmm, maybe I should though ! For some reason I just can't think of that stuff. I can think about how to make more money or how to spend less, or how to find my way out of a ****ty situation or how to help my friends get into college - you know, all this material stuff. But higher matters are not on the agenda for me and I am actually wonedring how it can be of any interest for anyone. Who cares about higher matters these days ? Well, maybe Steve does. But I think that many people are guided by the urge of instant gratification - you have to have something , you go and get it, right now ! - and I think that most people are quite preoccupied with their daily concerns. Of course it is good to stop and think about other stuff too, but, Steve, do not forget to keep your feet on the ground. Just a suggestion <<<<<<<<< see my smile ?
