Dear Mohammad,

Thankyou for that reference site. I have read it thoroughly. I find Josh McD. talking with understanding, love and sensitivity. However, I see Mr Deedat (I hope that is correct spelling - it is not in front of me now) to be anything from childishly amusing, to bitterly sarcastic. He appears to want to purposely twist Scripture when it suits him, but believe it also WHEN IT SUITS HIM. I find his oratory unconvincing and factually incorrect.

I found this article you gave me to read, to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Jesus IS the Son of God, he WAS crucified as stated in scripture, WAS raised from the dead and (as stated in scripture) now sits at the right hand side of his father in heaven.

I guess it's fairly obvious that you and I will never agree on this subject and I would therefore personally prefer to stop arguing, as I don't believe other people want to listen to this. If they do, then I'm more than happy to proceed, but if denials of God's holy word and the ramblings of Mr Deedat are your best offerings, I suggest you quit now.

Imagine seeing all your own beliefs as facts and not guesses - didn't you ever notice you are often wrong. That my be a hint to some people.

And about religion,
don't you know Bill was right and everything we are expected believe with no reason becomes fact or superstition - it is reduced in to into grander sphere - our intellect picks that up. You use that part of your brain everyday - why not now!!!. What you are talking is about is not Islam, it is a political movement for the oppressed and nothing else. All the stats are bunk. And the views that are being shown are edited beyond all belief, and remove any possibility that you have any honour at all.

Dear Philip,

I went to Austrailia (Bunbury) last year. I went swimming, but the beach was much steeper than I am used to and 2 successive waves picked me up and slammed me down into the sand with such force it took 3 weeks to fully recover. It seems that your original question (might) have done the same (figuratively speaking) for you. Religious feelings run high - I make no bones about that - but please don't worry about other people's words - I would simply and respectfully ask you NOT to take Bill's attitude, (no offence, Bill - but you know what I believe!) but to ask GOD (wherever / whoever you believe him to be) to come into your experience and lead you to the truth.

Mohammad - You think to lead me on to discuss the Koran ??? You have already proved that you will wriggle out of any difficult situation that you find yourself in by simply denying truth ! There is only one book written by God and it is not the Koran.

Sorry, but this is where I bow out - not in any sense of defeat, but simply because you cannot see the wood, for the trees.

You say Qur'an is not the words of God, then prove it. You can't just answer a "No". Every answer has a justification.
