If you want to make a point be clear and concise with it, don't give me dragons and then call me delusional cause you seem to think one lives in your head and then claim something else later on. If you want to argue the merits of science against the short comings of Christianity start giving solid scientific proof that cannot be refuted instead of talking about brain capacity (btw that means size regardless of what you think) and me being able to show you with the evidence that science itself has given that you don't have a clue aof anything you are talking about.

Zbyszhek, you sound funny in your posts. What miracles exactly are you talking about? I applaud my aunt for her belief system, she was an honest woman. I condemn the fake kinds that you see on boards here who chose to "adjust" their religious so that it allows them to use surgeons etc. I am sorry she died, but she has my utmost respect! You both gave good and serious signals this time.
We will not be able to convince one another and that is more than sure. The most outstanding philosophers could not agree on this and they still follow endless disputes, how we could solve this Georgian knot of thought?
I have to admit that my senses misguide me from time to time and I come to the conclusion that I do not know myself thoroughly enough. Therefore, I rely on testimony of greater minds who devoted all their lives on trying to explain themselves and others the order of the Universe. I know that I know nothing for 100% sure.
What I believe is that Supernatural Force, never mind in what shape, does not necessarily copy standard human way of reasoning. Typical example – all Canada presumably puts such order – children first, then women, old people, men. For me – it is a typical crippled human feature which is not God’s way. I would think that God values all this groups on the same level and why? Because he is deprived of human emotion like tenderness, desire or sensitiveness to nice looks. A child looks nice so each of us human would save it. Old decrepit man looks ugly – and the most of us would not be inclined to save his life first. So, in the eyes of God we are racists, discriminating a cute child over an ugly elderly.
I often remember Jesus’s preaching on labourers in the vineyard. It is such a fine piece of thinking! The conclusion is almost unacceptable to us humans. Yet, for Him it is obvious that a man can totally improve his life in one second.
V-G are you really so sure that God is a fantasy? I would bet that when you stay helpless in front of a beast you ask Someone for help, whoever He is. You expect that He will grab your hair and raise you above your trouble. You close your eyes and … how good, it was only a bad dream, Uffff. God is useless again.
As to Fedorovich’s question – when you are in love and you beg your lady to become yours, you are never sure she will show her grace. Yet, you are ready to sing serenades under her window. Yes, you expect to be loved but you’re not sure. We humans need love and we are ready to fight, to beg, to kill sometimes in order to enjoy it.
People need love desperately, about all other things. They would give love and they do expect love. The one who satisfies this feeling is the winner. Who it will be? Ask yourself.
