Greetings,

Periodically we have people post Wild and Unfounded claims about the validity of their Faith.

One of these people is BenCa. He stated that
he knew several books that scientifically proved the existance of some God. He was asked to provide the Tittle of these books.
A lot of mealy-mouthing, but no information on the books. It is time to either deliver
those Tittles or to admit that they do not exist. Further, an APOLOGY is also indicated
if it turns out that this was an attempt to
BULL.HIT the rest of us.

What say you, BenCa?

Hello Bill,
I'm sure Ben will give you his considered answer - which I will be interested to read myself, but while we wait, I would put my own opinion. You have already heard it in fact.

No book - not even the Bible - can PROVE the existence of God, because God only exists in the hearts and minds of those who accept His existence BY FAITH. Therefore for those who are still looking for God, books can be sourses of information, knowledge, inspiration, etc., but can never be considerd as PROOF. Proof comes through the touch of Holy Spirit on our souls, who puts PERSONAL proof where before there was doubt (or lots of things.......)

....like books show us how the equipment works - Holy Spirit plugs us into the power.
Regards.
ANDREW

Sorry for the late answer...
IM kind of busy with my work...

And as for the book. I don't have the title of the book that IM thinking of right now, and even if I did. How would you get it? I think it called something like, God in an Age of Science, IM not sure. Again, I got that book from the Public Library, and I don't remember the title, I had to return it. IF you really interested, go to Public Library, and get few books that has to do with science and god. I'll ask my friend if he can find that book for me.

And as for my Wild and Unfounded claims. Your claims are also wild and unfounded, because they are based on your belief that God doesn’t exist

Greetings BenCa,

Tell me one story from the BIBLE that has been backed up by any EVIDENCE. Archaelogy,
Pictures, (not paintings) Blood Evidence,
DNA Evidence.

Speaking of DNA Evidence. Did you know that
the "Y" chromosomes have positively ruled out our single source beginning. Not all of us are descendents of the same source, what's his name,- ADAM? How about GOD? Where did she come from?

Think about these things.

Good Luck.

Ps, About those books. It was you who assured us that there were BOOOOKS that scientifically proved the EXISTANCE of GOD. We want those books. Enough of the MEALY-MOUTHING. Either you know what you are talking about or you don't. I am betting that you do not.

The first Ungaro-ic paragraph opens wide the door to a chamber of considerable ignorance. I guess we must all bear-up under this unwonted burden. Peace to each of you believers, and those other guys.
