Why Do You Bother

Why do the fundamental religious people swamp these sites with their controversial views on existence. It appears obvious to me that they are never going to be welcome so they must love causing trouble.
They present arguments to people they have never met and when they don't agree with them they get personal. Very Christian of them.
These sites are for people who want to talk about a certain country, that is why it's call Ukraine.com etc, NOT Religion.com. So they should not be surprised that the replies they get are hostile. They should take them on the chin, because they invited them.

I believe it is the height of ignorance to put your face where it is not wanted, but then I was brought with manners.

The answer to your question could be re phased: Why did God,s son, Jesus Christ bother????
His view were controversial to the Jews!
Could it be that the message you are reading on the religion page, is hiting your conscience and this is effecting you,????
Only you yourselfe can answer that. And finaly every body knows there,s a religion page on Ukraine.com but God has given you the freedom of choice. So if you dont wont to read or chat about religion, then dont log on the religion page!!!!! and then you can not be upset about what you read.

I couldn't agree more. Shevster, it's that simple. The religion page on this site is HERE to dusciss RELIGION. If you want nothing to do with it, simply don't read...don't respond. WHAT A CONCEPT. And yes we DO get personal because our beliefs are VERY personal to us and when someone tries to make me question my own beliefs and doubt in the God (who, by the way, if it weren't for Him I wouldn't be alive today) who loves me and cares for me. I would defend his name to the death if need be (the need has never arisen so don't get excited and call me a terrorist. I don't bomb buildings or start holy wars as B.Ungaro would like to believe.).

Nothing I've read on the religion board affects me, other than to make we laugh.
Why I posted the topic was, because they, the contributors, are just letting off hot air, no one listen to each other and they could do far better things with their time.
There are very important socio-economic and political issues surrounding Ukraine and all of eastern Europe, but these pages get swamped with people who don't know anything about them and what's more don't care either.

Look at Vlas's posting on prostitution in Ukraine, nearly no one's responded to it? If you give a damn about Ukraine then do something about this.

You invite abuse on all these sites therefore, it would be impolite not to accept it. Take the abuse on the chin and learn a little bit more about Ukrainian culture.

having just read some more of the evil sh*t tyssian's posting, the answer is, someone has got to keep poison like 'it' from getting to the masses.
