Greetings,
After the Holidays we need to talk about the "DEVIL" and the "HOLLY SPIRIT". Have a great Easter.
Good Luck.

Hi, Tanysha. I recon this one could run for a while !!

I'm interested in your comparison between 'believing strongly' and 'just curious'.

To me - both because of what Scripture teaches me - and also because of my own personal experience based on my acceptance of Scripture - HOLY SPIRIT is a person - as real as you and me and the 3RD PERSON ('nature') of God the Trinity.

GOD has / is / and will for ever be in heaven. To show us GOD, JESUS came to live our life / die our death, whilst still remaining God. However, He had to return to heaven, but promised to send us 'another councellor - the HOLY SPIRIT', which He did at the time called Penticost.

Holy Spirit is therefore - to me as a believer - my friend, my constant companion, the one who leads and teaches me day to day and the one who opens up the bible and helps me with prayer. He is God for everyone, but - like the wind - cannot be seen. He will not be recognised by anyone who does not accept God and does not ask for God to save them. He is an integral and inextricable indication of God's love to each of us.

Unlike many religions of the world based on dead prophets / teachers (and I say this with no disrespect to anyone) this is where the God of the christian stands unique and proves to be who He is and why He has the right to call Himself the saviour of all mankind >>>>

HE IS ALIVE - and with us and in us and leading us onward and upward both in this life and for eternity.

I know Bill is priming his verbal 12-bore, but I am open to any comments (and I am ready for anything), but no-one can take from me my personal EXPERIENCE of having God with me- what a mind-boggling concept!! I don't deserve it, but God gives it ot to me anyway, 'cause that's His promise and His word.
ANDREW.

WHAT HE SAID! I am in agreement with my good friend Andrew.

God not only FOR me and WITH me, but IN me is an awesome concept ... and an even more awesome experience.

Greetings Andrew,
I don't know if you have noticed, as of late,
I have been using my Water Pistol only. This has been way too civil to use any 12 gauge
or even just a 410 gauge. Having just reached
a level of comfort with the concept of GOD,
now the Plot Thickens for me with the Holy Spirit and the Devil. I have some questions and comments. These can wait until Monday or Tuesday or when ever.
Good Luck,
Come on Schumacher.

I wait with baited breath, Bill - I am seriously interested in your views.

A wet race should see fireworks on the track and could see Button on the podium, but I agree Shumacher must be favourite.

TANYSHA.....
I believe in the holy spirit strongly too. (Just in case you didn't know ) lol Well I know that lots of people know "holy spirit" differently. Some think that they get the holy spirit when they become christians but that is not true. Atleast I believe that it is not true. Tell me what you think about that.
