I wish I could disagree here... but I can't. He must have a really interesting sense of humour, otherwise why would he give humans such funny faces when they have an orgasm? He must be watching and ROTFL.

Why do some persons who do not agree with a particular faith or belief system feel it necessary to aggressively ridicule those who do ?
What I'm talking about is the wanton, vicious, and usually unprovoked verbal attacks against ordinary Christians, Jews, Muslims, or even ALL religions altogether by those who choose not to have religious beliefs. I know plenty of Atheists and Agnostics who do not behave in this way and certainly don't condone it. I just wonder what it is that people who DO participate in this kind of behavior gain from it, or hope to gain from it. Comment ? Explanation ? Educated guess? Could it be because people want to think their club membership is more valid than someone elses?

Lilly, let me ask you a question in return. Who gives all those religious folk the right to stop me on the street and tell me all about impending doom in the year 2000 (who is stupid now?)?
What gives the religious folk the right to protest against gay community now and then, while having priests molesting boys... hmm... Christianity... After years of exposure I hate religion, I think its the dumbest thing in the world right now. If you ask me what I think - I'll be very frank. Now and then you hear the news that just get you... eat your core and one can't help but wonder what all those know-it-all religious fanatics have to say about it. Then people like me post... Contrary to the logical conclusion, I do not dislike people who are religious. I don't agree with them and if they bug me I dislike them for bugging me but not for their religious views. This courtesy is rarely ever extended to me. Once some poor bugger starts talking dooms day with me and I tell him what I think about his religion - well, he becomes very confused. He hates my guts, but once he realizes what he feels he also realizes that he'll go to hell. So there is this battle inside of that poor bugger. |

I find myself agreeing with you yet again.. I also dislike religion.. I do however, Love Faith, which is not based on a series of rules and ceremonies to achieve success as religion is..
