Hi Max,

I can see clearly where you are coming from - and the logic in your argument.

The only thing I would say is.......you have left out one Person from this equation:

GOD........!!!!

Who I believe has a number of things to say on this subject.

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

It’s nice to see you here. This board seems to be a stronger enterprise, doesn’t it? He-he.

Yes you are right. I’m not coming from any form of theosophy here - Christian neither Islamic. And actually I don’t know much about Islamic theosophy – yet it’s not reason for me to feel the paranoiac fear or wish to overcome it by any means.

The paradox is God talks both to Christians and Moslems and it seems he talks awfully different things. And when he talks to Christians it seems he talks awfully different things to different Christian confessions. So how do we know where is the real drive?

Look this unordinary woman is also God’s prophet – she is legally Christian pastor. I could believe you but equally I could believe her. Both of you will talk about God and cite Write.

So whom can I trust? Yep, I can trust only my logic. It’s like a rock in waters of vague mysticism.

I’d add Christianity and Islam are confronted by politicians and fanatics, from both sides. It is not strange the mere people (and some pastors among them) try to let the steam out and to buck the voltage…. Yes it seems rather odd, agree, but it’s just attempt to bring together the confronting religions… it’s not heresy to be burned on fire. It violates the “political line” of the state this lady lives in but it stills the spiritual phenomenon.

If you remember I wrote somewhere earlier differences between the authentic Jewish faith and Islam are not so essential. Islam is just Arabic analogy of Jewish faith and it’s much younger. I hope everyone knows Catholics and Orthodoxes realize distinct line between Christians and Jews… and this is where Protestants fail… because the same idea of Reform requires the spiritual regression to early Jew communities led by apostles and refuses the entire historical Catholic superstructure.

So for Catholicism or Orthodoxy there are not bold differences between Jewish faith and Islam – both of them are not Christians. This is the idea I come from.

But if people in let’s say indeterminate protestant’s community got suggestion they are identical with ancient Jews… they believe they got now problems of ancient Jews and logically struggle with Arabs is one of them… it’s illusion of the mind and it causes whole the paradox – it’s when civilized but historically absolutely irrelevant nation suddenly co-experiences with Jews such that psychical border almost disappears…

This trap is where let’s say Germans, Italians, Russians, Ukrainians and the rest of European nations aren’t likely to get…

So let’s get back to that woman… I really don’t think soon all the American pastors will become “Christians on Monday and Moslems on Tuesday”… but it looks like the beginning of the new movement inside the multi religious society… she is like Martin Luther King of another sex and in another treatment… now she struggles not for rights of blacks, now the black lady-pastor struggles for rights of Moslems in aggressive environment.

Martin Luther King caused today’s racial equality… what will the Ms Redding cause?
