Ukrainian social and humanitarian magazine Person and Politics (Ukr.- Liudyna i Polityka) is issued by the International Comparative Analysis Institute since January, 1999.
The co-founders of the issue are famous Ukrainian scientific and civil organizations, in particular the Institute of political and ethnonational studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), the Institute of economy of industry of the NASU, the Academy of economic sciences of Ukraine, Independent civil center of ethnonational studies "New Paradigm". The Higher state attestation Committee of Ukraine has recognized Person and Politics as a scientific issue in the fields of political science, history and philosophy. The Editorial Board is comprised by 22 Doctors of different sciences.
The magazine is issued in Ukrainian six times a year.
The main tasks of the magazine are:
 to present and discuss current theoretical and practical problems of contemporary political, economic, social life of Ukraine and the world;
 to publicize the results of scientific research in theory and history of legal, political, historical, economic, philosophic and other social sciences;
 to overcome a stereotype of perceiving politics as only the struggle for power, and to facilitate the respect for human rights and legal norms, and the adoption of norms of civilized political behavior, culture of communications among citizens, political organizations and the state, among states and peoples.
The magazine is read by the scientific researchers, doctorate students, higher school students and lecturers, professional politicians, representatives of public administration and other audience that is interested in contemporary theoretical and practical problems of political science, politics, philosophy, economics, history and law.
Person and Politics welcomes the materials on various underdeveloped, not widely known or disputable problems of history, political science, law, economics, and international relations.
The main criteria of selection of articles are the scientific character of the material, originality of thoughts, importance of the topic, proper editorial elaboration of the text.
