Talking

On another note, you'd have to be an idiot to do something so stupid for political gain. Listening to Mr Yuschenko, the man may have his faults but being an idiot is not one of them.

Well, the truth is his skin problem is almost the only problem caused by the diotixin. In fact with time even his skin should slowly get back to normal - its almost like achne only in the most severe stage possible. He rushed into the hospital in Austria right on time

And lets face it, even if I and you wouldn't do it - who knows how Yuschenko and his wife may feel about it? Who does he have to impress with his looks right now?

I agree with Len, that if Russia wanted him dead he'd be so! But as usual there is another side to this story - what if "they" poisoned him just to disable him for a short period of time to loose in the second stage of election process? Dealing with poisoning is easier than with a murder (with all USA and European curious mass media).

Hey Clay, if you want to say Slava Ukraini <- this is how its spelled. There word Ukrainu means something very different, but I have trouble explaining it in English.

Vodka and poisoning - GOOD ONE!

Another interesting thought:

How many people here, preferably those who support Yuschenko, think that abandoning ties with Russia is a good idea? How many think that Ukraine will join Western Europe in its prosperity once we abandon ties with Russia? Hmm... I guess there should be quite a few of you guys!

Well, here is a thought - Europe DOES NOT NEED Ukraine to live a good life - they already do! In fact, who do you think cares about Ukraine in Europe? Believe me - nobody! . Let’s be true to ourselves, Western Europe will always do only things that are profitable for them in some way. Even philanthropy is not pure on their side - they reinforce their good name. Ukraine is poor; in fact it is so poor that to Germans it's probably a good laugh. Most Ukrainians never go abroad, because their entire year salary is not enough to even check into a 5star hotel... well that figures, people like Yuschenko, can go anywhere they like at any point of time - they have the money. How does he do it? Simple, just lie through his teeth and fool those who are already poor with promises about European wealth.

Sadly, Ukrainian people are trapped between two evils. One - Westerners who just talk and will never actually help Ukraine. Two - Russia who is just not developed enough to even be able to help Ukraine (leave alone the thought that they might not want to either).

I think that the only way for Ukraine to start moving towards prosperity is to so it slowly. How about we invite a smart Ukrainian Diaspora, not corrupt, somebody who did not grow up in the Ukraine? Lets let that person govern Ukraine - dismiss all the people in the government, de-privatize all big factories owned single-handedly by big shots and let Ukrainian people show that they are able to earn a good life. What do you think Dobko? Would you be up for it?

Please notice I never implied that I liked Yanukovich, the only reason why I'd vote for him is because he is smarter not to ruin the relationship with Russia. If you read "The Economist" Russia is better off than Ukraine in almost every way - higher wages better life etc. So keeping a relationship with Russia is already beneficial to Ukrainians. Going after Europe is a good idea but only when Ukraine is ready - and it is not ready yet . It is way too poor to even talk. Sad, huh? Yet, likely true.

These are my thoughts friends...

P.S. what does "a nationalist" mean?

I don not think Ukraine needs to change its policy, because everybody know that UKRAINE WILL BE NEVER ACCEPTED INTO THE EU AND NATO because if it is the case Europe risks a nuclear conflict with Russia and Barroso as well as Prodi or somebody else know it and told it.What is Yuschenko doing is trying to find some kind of justification for his actions, trying to find an argument that would seem plausible to explain his electorate why he should win.Yanukovich has nothing to hide he has shown why he should win the game:he has clear arguments for support strong economical ties with Russia and CIS and slow movement towards the EU by the way Ukraine shouldn't be a member-state of the EU to have a high life-standard (not such "standard" like it's the case with Poland with more than 20% unemployment rate, corruption organized crime and big poverty and so on,even Lithuania and Estonia have higher standard as it is the case with Poland and Latvia)

Hello dear Russian retards who hate Ukraine:

Regardless of whether he recovers directly from dioxin or not, he will 100% die of cancer in the next 10 years because it is inevitable as a result of poisoning.

I hope that Russians like you are denied the very entrance to Ukraine, even transit through Ukraine.
