Relict, you are so blinded by what communism and Russia has done to Ukraine that you believe that sad propaganda of the east. Russia is the one that has been openly involved in Ukraine politics. Putin showed up several time to campaign for his lackey Yanukovich . Russia government has spent close to $300 million to elect their lackey. No US president has gone to Ukraine to show political support for Yushchenko. You are so blind to not believe that Yushchenko was poisoned. I am not claiming that Yanukovich had anything to do with it. In fact I probably think he did not, and it was more like organized crime that did it. They are the ones that are running scared, as that is a problem the both candidates must address.

Yes, I still think Ukraine is a 3rd world country. It may have 13% growth, but compared to their GNP, it is small compared to any western country. Your assumption is silly. That is like saying that if Haiti's economy grew at 13% it would not be a 3rd world country. 13% of virtually nothing, is still nothing. Learn western economics and you will understand. Most Ukrainians make less that $150 a month, which is considered by United Nations to be poverty level. If your economy is growing so well, then why are people so poor? Perhaps the corrupt cronies of Kuchma and his allies (organized crime) are pocketing the money including Yanukovich. Why anyone would prefer to be supressed by these people is beyond my understanding, unless of course your are one of the cronies. The Ukraine government is considered one of the most corrupt in the world with it's Stalin mentality still hanging on. Get ready for a change, it is coming December 26th.
