I don't have time to keep posting here at this forum anymore, but quickly browsing over this forum I noticed a lot of anti-ukrainian propaganda spreading. Probably done by russians, which is their historical hobby.
____

The Orange Revolution

Yanukovych is a government-puppet raised for nothing as a politican candidate by russian polit-technologies. He represents nothing new but the Kravchuk-Kuchma regime which started in 1991 and robbed Ukrainians for 13 years straight.

Talking about the fact that he was arrested for rape and assault in his early 20's is useless, because will be saying that he is actually a candidate, while he is just a face of the oligarchic triangle.

There are three oligarchic groups in Ukraine, one run by PINCHUK who is Kuchma's relative and owns the party which Yanukovych is part of. Another one is Ahmetov, who is Eastern-Ukrainian oligarch, although he is not Ukrainian but Tartarian-Russian. He has illegaly privatized entire industries in Eastern-Ukrainian donbass and "bought" 4 senators of the regions, such as Kharkiv's, Luhans'k, Zaporizhya and Donec'k. By "buying" them, he managed to get ENTIRE control of the local media. This was necessary to start fictional division of Ukrainian West and East. Propaganda was aimed at telling residents of Donbass(Donec'k region) that they are better than the rest of Ukraine, they are feeding the rest of Ukraine(while in reality: they give 10 million hryvnia to the budget a year while Kyiv alone gives almost 600 million hryvnia) and Yuschenko represents west Ukraine(reality check: Yuschenko is from Sumy, which is North-Eastern Ukraine city. Also, the main support of Yuschenko is in large cities where free press exists, epicenter being the capital - KYIV which is even with falsifications showed 80% support for Yuschenko and since I'm from Kyiv and know a lot of people there and the situation, there are basically less than 1% supporters of Yanukovych, but even those have not been located by any of my relatives, friends, aquantancies).

Yanukovych as a prime-minister let Luzhkov(Moscow's mayor) buy out Ukrainian resorts in Crimea which were systematically destroyed by not receiving funding from Yanukovych's cabinet of ministers, to make them really cheap and enable Luzhkov buy them for almost nothing. The result is that 30% of Crimea resorts are owned by Luzhkov today. This is just one example why Yanukovych is anti-Ukrainian and why Russians support him, - because he is their puppet.

The main propaganda against Yuschenko is based on his nationalism, which shows that they have absolutely nothing on him. He is the opposite of Nationalism, in fact he is for recognizing everybody living in Ukraine as Ukrainians, thus enabling them of not writing "nationality" in passports, for example "jew" or "russian". Which is anti-nationalistic as it gets. He also makes no differences between ethnic, religious, racial differences between people.

Through media control, Yanukovych receives almost 30% of support in Ukraine but with falsifications, such as people voting 5 times in a row and recotrs in Universities TELLING STUDENTS to vote for Yanukovych or they get expelled, as well as directors of factories doing the same to their workers, increases it to almost half. But now people have risen and will not allow for this russian product of corruption to exist in Ukraine.

Hopefully, he will be sentenced to prison along with Kuchma and other oligarchs very soon.

As for American connection to Yuschenko, it's just silly. Yuschenko pledges to immediately withdraw Ukrainian forces from Iraq

To russian misinformers: bark as much as you can, but you will never regain control of Ukraine and go read more of pravda.ru

I can't guarantee that I'll be reading any responses due to lack of time and my rare visits here.

Of course, it will stay as it is. It's not even an issue, the Russians try to make look Yuschenko anti-russian, but situation of Russian language in Ukraine is very privileged one.

Ukrainian is the official language for Government, official documents, agreements, diplomacy. Of course it's better to have one language for this, this is the norm everywhere in the world.

But since there are millions of Russians living in Ukraine they enjoy extremely privileged positions concerning their language. There is Russian language in every single school in Ukraine and thousands of schools are in fact Russian, where Ukrainian is taught like a foreign language. I think this is ridiculous and if it was up to me, I would ban all of these schools. But Yuschenko doesn't think so and will leave those Russian schools as they are. Some courses in Universities are not even offered in Ukrainian.

Right now, Ukrainian needs to be helped in Ukraine, not Russian.
