Today Ukraine needs your help. Hundred thousand of people have left on streets of Kiev with the protest against illegal actions of the government which tries to suppress democracy and deprive freedom. These people needs support from friendly countries!

Please see details at http://www.help-ukraine.com.
Thanks!

Yes, I've asked Colin Powell to invalidate the election and start all over again, clean and fair.

Well, the kidding aside, I do feel this is the 'now or never' moment for Ukraine to become a freer society and join the West in democracy and prosperity. Free flow of ideas unhampered by heavy-handed authorities -- no strings from Moscow.

My prayers are with Ukraine. I mean it. Real prayers.

Very interesting to browse the posts. Some informative, some amusing (the ones blaming America).

I think its about time Russia stop feeling insecure and start helping all the countries surrounding it. It should aim at influencing them by achievement and examples, instead of control. Better and prosperous neighbors can help Russia with better trade and create an economic powerhouse in the region.

Just a comment.... George Soros could not buy the Presidency for John Kerry. Its good that he's trying to help Ukraine, but don't overinflate his participation. (I wish he simply give me some of the money... hehehehe)

I'm impressed by Voyager's opinion on the free press and his analysis on the US election to shed light on the crisis at Ukraine at hand.

Let me introduce biblical imageries of kinds of governments. The Roman Empire. So long as it is there to promote what is good and protect its innocent citizens, it is healthy and good. ROMANS 13: CIVIL GOVERNMENT.

But when the same government turns dictatorial and oppress or persecute its own people who have committed no crimes except to disagree with the state agenda, there is abuse of power. REVELATION 13: BEASTLY GOVERNMENT.

In this sense, Russia still has a lot of beastly elements in its system, coming from Putin (shutting down televisions and the press, imprisoning oil tycoons under tax pretext, etc).

Examples of some other beastly governments: North Korea (Kim John Il), Cuba (Fidel Castro), Myanmar (Burma). Mahathir (Malaysia) proved himself a bit of a beast by jailing his critic under fabricated charges of sodomy.

At this time, the people of Ukraine are trying to slay this dragon. They are asking for a civil government. God bless Ukraine.

What we , you and I and the rest of the world are deeing now in Ukraine is History in the making . For the first time in probably centuries , the people , the ordinary folks in the street are are standing up against what they have endured for decades if not centuries . A fearfull Dragon that has at times reigned fire and brimstone upon it's people in order to keep them subserviant and dependent on little more than hand outs . The Government today only takes from the people , handing out a pittance only when it is advantagous to the powers at hand . Look for yourself . Nobody who works at an honest living , Doctors , Lawyers , Teachers or even Dentists can expect to bring home more than $50 - $60 a month , at least in western Ukraine where I stayed for a month . Take Chernivtsy for instance . A nice city with hard working , friendly people who only want the same as everyone . Enough for themselves and their families to live a comfortable and happy life . Yet the prices on the street for them are really high for nessassery staples like bread , which can double in price in a month , milk , sour cream , and meat can be out of reach ! And you must be carefull about what you buy because there is a lot of bad food that can make you deathly ill . It's a lack of controls , not only on food but utilities as well . It's not uncommon for water , or gas to suddenly and without warning to go off . Sometimes for an hour or two , and sometimes for days ! But they live with it accepting that is the way things are . they have never have believed that anyone , much less the government will do anything to make things better , and true to their beliefs they havent . Now they see a real chance for improvement , and they are standing up and speaking out ! I applaud them and I support them ! God bless them all !
