The media glossed over the entire issue. They referred to the church burnings and destruction as "mob violence". As if it was some random event.

A certain high-ranking officer of FBR admitted that the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Lazarenko, whose case is under investigation in the USA now, has given evidence, also compromising Yuschenko. According to his testimony they made it possible to spend exchange reserves of National Bank of Ukraine for not State expenditure. It evoked a strong coolness of American sponsors in respect of their protégé Yuschenko. First of all it’s concern of his political future in Ukraine. But nowadays America has no serious political alternative for Yuschenko there, so American Justice is not in a hurry to publish this information. But what is done by night appears by day.
