Yuschenko is promising to change Ukraine into US strategical partner if we will create the order for American produce in Ukrainian market. He figuring on owns ties in present American administration. But he doesn’t think that after elections can begin to realize another politic as regards to Ukraine. The main thing that irrespective of elections result membership of administration will change. I’m afraid that if we will choose Yuschenko Ukraine will be agrarian adjunct of USA. I think that Ukraine will not take instead anything. I’m sure that Yuschenko is purposing own aim. The main idea of his presidential is collapse of Ukraine and nation. Look around you, what is happen in the CIS? USA is conducting an open campaign against us. We will be able to resist them if we will unify with Russia.

"an agrarian adjunct"? Surely you are aware that the U.S. is a huge exporter of grains.

When proper ownership laws are enacted and enforced, it would be foolish for Ukraine NOT to seek US investment and technology transfers. Proper laws and regulations allow foreign direct investment while keeping national soverignity intact.

Lay down with either dog, you're bound to get fleas.
Which fleas blight better, Russian speaking or English speaking?

All of us should understand that as soon as Yuschenko comes to power, he begins to realize plans of the West. For the sake of his future power the US protégé is ready to sacrifice the integrity of Ukrainian state. He really thinks that if he returns some western regions to Poland and declares a Crimean-Tatar Independent Republic, it will be easier for his government to “build real democratic society in Ukraine” and, thus, most problems between the West and Ukraine lose their validity. The popular opposition leader is sure that it also gives Ukraine the possibility to join the EU body around half a year. Mr. Yuschenko has bad memory for current events. Maybe, he deliberately forgot recent EU and NATO statements where they have publicly declared that Ukraine doesn’t have a perspective of joining these blocs in the very near future. It’s simply the next trick of the West and NATO who intend to turn Ukraine into a buffer zone. EU authorities can’t forget that soon the Union finds itself sharing a border with Ukraine. So they are in a hurry to change the existing borders of our country but without evoking much ethic conflicts. Mr. Yuschenko is a suitable toy in their play.

fear is an unknown quantity at this point
You’ve toughed upon one of the keen questions of Ukraine after the dissolution of the USSR. It’s the national issue of the Crimean Tatars. From the forthcoming elections they expect the solving their main problem in the Crimean southern coast (their historical Motherland, as they say). After Tatars began to return to the Crimea in mass, the local authorities started posing numerous obstacles for settling the situation. It caused disappointments and conflicts. Tatars demand the equal rights of ethnic minorities and large land parcels in the Crimea. What is more important is how Yuschenko estimates the situation. Of course, he echoes the West, hoping that it can aid in the establishment of a Crimean Tatar independent republic. But I (as many other Ukrainians) feel a real threat from forming an Islamic state on our territory. I’m really afraid of it. Here we can carry out a precise parallel between events in Kosovo (where aggressive Albanians (Muslims) attacked tolerant Serbians (Slavs)) and Crimean problems. The analogy between Serbia and the Crimea is quite obvious. Do you want such future, ladies and gentlemen? Vote for Mr. Yuschenko!

nonsence

You are really crazy saing that Ushenko at power means some territorial changes, crimean islamic problems. I even don't know where to start from to explain my idea. It's so far from reality. It's clear that as Ushenko eager to get power not for a holy intentions but to extend his and his numerous supporters' wealth. Those people are not from the Moon. They have been doing their businesses here in Ukraine, they know rules and use them as well as Medvedchuk, Kuchma and their supporters. There is no fight of titans but fight of businessmans. And their aims are too far from geopolitical changes and fates of nations!
