This is a plug for my website http://www.eyeswide.org

I'm a 21 year old student from America, and I started this forum to promote open communication and debate -- and I ask that all of you take a look. If you like what you see, please register, and share your opinion on one of the many topics. I know most of you are fluent in English so by all means, let your voice be heard. We already have a couple Ukranian members (check out the Europe photos for some shots of the Ukraine) -- and more are welcome!!!

We welcome the international perspective in strengthening our online community.

Oh, I can well believe that we should hold to principle of objectiveness while estimating internal political situation in our country. Nevertheless I’m sure that the whole responsibility for its aggravation is to Ukrainian opposition. Its leaders (I mean Yulia Tymoshenko and well-known Yuschenko) continue to escalate hysteria in mass media, trying to attract international attention to their main problem on the eve of the upcoming elections. It’s certainly the problem of power changing in Ukraine. I should warn the West against a perspective of coming to power such shady characters as Yuschenko and Tymoshenko. First of all they have already been in our government. Remember, Yuschenko is our former Premier; Tymoshenko is the ex-Deputy Premier. And then they couldn’t demonstrate their strength and reliability as top politicians. Why should we support them now (together with you, of course)? Yuschenko is up to the ears in scandals, linked with corruption. Tymoshenko escaped to undergo punishment for law-breaking quite by chance. They need the help of the West only because they are sure that there is no place for them in a stable and prospered Ukraine. Think of it, ladies and gentlemen. It’s better for you to support Yanukovic at the end of this year.
