From my experience I see federal corruption as astarting point but then again who will be the person to clean the govt. ?
I doubt there will be much change in the near future.

From my experience - where you wack democracy on top an existing power structure you've got problems.

You just need successive governments to make small changes.

The iron law of oligarchy rules supreme. The only way to heead the tide is a very strong set of checks and balances. A healthy level of mistrust helps.

It's hard work, but somebody has got to do it...

To me it is more simple then that Alkas but maybe I am wrong.

It is more a matter of people not doing things to stuff things up, rather then a need for volunteers.
