Greetings,
Let us say up front that Ukraine, Hungary and others have been royally screwed by the CCCP. We can also say that it was not the people but their often paranoid leaders. I think that we can all agree that Stalin was a BASTARD. I would also like to make a case, that the Russian people also have been screwed.
Please consider the following points:
1. The French Revolution was in 1789. The Russian Revolution was in 1917. The Oligarchy kept the Russian people poor and the Church kept the Russian people humble for 130 years longer. When the Revolutin did finally start, all the Industrialized countries tried their best to defeat it.
2. The Russians were forced into fighting two wars that they did not start. We all know about the suffering during WW-2.
3. After the war, once again all the Western
Countries were against the CCCP. I think I would become paranoid too.
4. After the death of Stalin, the reforming of the CCCP was beginning to happen. After a long list of semi progressive leaders along comes Michail Gorbachev. Nice guy, nice looking wife. People loved him in the west.
He wanted to change things for the better, but not overnight. He was too slow for the USA. The fact that he was loved in the west was also dangerous for the USA. An Evil Empire like the CCCP, can not have a leader who is loved in the west. In the dark of the night, President George Bush and Boris the
Drunk figured out a way to get rid of Gorbachev. Dissolve the CCCP and make Boris the Drunk the leader of Russia. Boris the Drunk with the full support of the USA, did just that. The next morning Gorby was unemployed.
5.Devide and Exploit might be a good tittle
for what happened next. When the CCCP was desolved it owed very little money. Less than 100 million Dollars. Now it owes billions and billions and it has nothing to show for it. All that money is sitting in foreign banks, in the accounts of Boris the Drunk and his goon friends.
6. The oil and gas fields in Kazakhstan and Uzbegistan and Russia are being pumped dry by foreign companies. Once again the money is
not being used to benefit the people.
As you see the Russian people get screwed also. I agree with Marina. The Russian people will put an end to all this. The sooner the better. 20 million people did not
die so Boris the Drunk and his goon friends
could have a good time.

If Russian people will put end to this in Russia that will only make it worse for other countries, all the time during a history when Russian were getting up they built huge amry and conquer Ukraine,Belorus,Poland,Hungary and many others... Many are still udner Russian control, such as "Bashkiriya" - Thats a country that nobody even know about, it's been under Russian control for centuries.
Russia will never be civilized European country, and it's not european, most of it's territory is in asia, so it's asian country.

Bull... I'm not talking about Belorus just looking on economy, (And dont say that russian economy is good, those percantages, you just made them up) i'm talking of Belorus as of country that has it's own history, culture, language, traditions and so and so. Now all that will be destroyed, it was by soviet union and by evil russian empire(which you call "holy") And now again... Russia will bring no good to Belorus. This is just not right when one country controlls another. We can be allies and friends, but we should never unite. And expacially at this situation, we cant call it "United Belorus and Russia" no, it's just "Russia" it's like Russia beat Belorus without a battle. I feel very very sorry for Belorus people.
