Dude, she is likely looking for a mate, so she, in fact, has to be somewhat judgmental. Unfortunately, she's been running into the wrong kind of guys. Which, in the population of American men that go overseas to find a bride, you would likely run into a disproportionate number of.

It's a vcommon knowledge taht most of them are extremely naive and are the most common victims of Internet and otehr scammers.

That is only because there are many more Americans travelling to Ukraine to find brides in comparison to western European countries. Additionally, there are more happy marriages between Americans/Ukrainians than other western countries too :-)

Many Americans complained to me: "Everybody here wants my money". Europeans dont' seem to have the same problems. Possibly becasue they don't talk too much about their income adn behave wisely.

This is a normal complaint, we've taken quite a beating from Uncle Sam these days, and complain about this often in our own country! And when we visit Ukraine, sometimes we are not charged the same fee as Ukrainians when receiving the purchasing the same product or service- maybe this is why you hear such complaints.

As for hating Americans I spent a eyar in GB and can confirm that British dotn' like AMericans, I heard negative comments from them so many times.Yes, for soem reason they think they know better and intervene into everybody's business

There are still many people in the southern US whom do not like the people living in the north because of animosity that has persisted since the civil war many many years ago- and they cite the same exact reasons as the British! Stereotypes are best ignored in most cases.

Prior to visiting this forum, I have NEVER heard someone from the UK make derogatory comments about Americans. I will be in London for the first time later this July, and will inform you if this perception changes.

The latest example is war in Iraq motivated by Saddam hiding weapons of mass destruction (which finally haven't been found). WHen I asked oen American why they do it he said they achieved hights in economy and are a superpower so tehy have right to do it. Wen otehr countries will be as strong and wealthy as they are then the situation will be different.

Yes, I agree with other posters that you are meeting some Americans who are rather extraordinary in their behavior and thinking! Do you believe that the American Civil War was fought over just the issue of slavery? Some people in America do, others don't.

Arrogance has never been acceptable. But it's not true they're stupid. Many Americans are quite ignorant but not stipid. If you ask average American about Ukraine he will not remember if this country exists or not.

However, I agree with you completely on this one. Americans almost never refer to Ukraine in the politically correct sense. We incorrectly refer to your country as "The Ukraine" as as though it still remains a provincial region of the USSR.

Imagine what these people would think if the UK still referred to USA as a British colony!

What I like in Americans is their being naive and natural. As children. Quite strange children. Bless them

Being a Canadian, were kind of the middle guy between Europe and USA. Americans are not totally ignorant; they are very friendly and well-mannered people. Saying this a lot are racist, with no good reason. Having friends and family in America, they all seem to hate Spanish people, but with no good reason. It is not surprising, especially since the media calls Hispanics ⌠aliens■ and how they will take over the Southwest. Americans and Canadians are both loud; the way Irena describes her story. I once noticed how this Canuck was once hitting on a Slavic girl, using cheap pick up lines and the usual Western approach. Let▓s say she didn▓t buy it. Also I notice a lot of Polish-Americans and Ukrainians brag when they get back from their fatherland about how many girls the screwed. They say flash a lot of money and your nationality then you get it.

Not an expectation, just an observation. Why do so many Canadians come to Florida? Sumy is an industrial city.

Yea I've been all through Europe and met many a friendly person but at the same time I would never want to live there because our lives in America are for the majority better and common to us as a people.
Europeans tend to believe in many cases that they hold the secrets to culture,lifestyle,and many other endless topics of the world that should be listened to at all times else you should be regarded as feeble and uneducated..lol
Americans do many wonderful things amongst themselves and strive to make better the country in which they live. They are not too aware that being educated or interested in European value systems is a condition linked to being liked in the world of European mentality. Americans far and away are becoming educated towards Europeans these days and alas they dont seem to like them much anyway.
Eastern Europe has potential except that they have been ****e on by communism for so many decades that the war crimes court of Europe needs to grow a ball or two and get the trials started..lol Western Europe is so limp and weak in this matter that all it can do is look away when the subject of war crimes for murdering communists come up..lol
Of the 44 or so European state/countries that exist today all but a few show any backbone in world affairs due to the UN game that convinced retards like France and many other states that they had clout in the world. Germany faulters economically mainly because Russia let loose millions of peasants through the wall in 1989.Belarus and the 1999 accord with Russia has developed nothing because of corruption and the same existance of communism today as yesterday.
Europeans of the East have better GDP growth by far than Western Europe because taxes are low and labor is cheap. It's just a matter of time before Western Europe has to fall in line with the east cause the east will always underbid the west for a job. God help the arrogant Europeans who soon will wonder WTF happened when the Eastern Europeans get done eating there lunch economically.
It's the same old cycle for Europe and Russia will help ya as long as the pie slice is bigger for them..lol Europeans here on the boards better get some jobs lined up rather than talk trash about everybody and everything cause soon the time for economic desater will be at hand..lol

As for World War II, we stood alone against the Nazis for about 2 years. Just us and them. The Americans wouldn't have given a flying **** about the war if the Japs hadn't bombed Pearl Harbour. We could've beaten the Nazis on our own if we had to. We had the largest Navy in the world during the War. Any battle at sea would've been a piece of cake.
