Hello Manilla . Watched this Iraqi give himself up to a British soldier today .The Brit [sounded like he was from Yorkshire] Searched the guy ,and then told him to empty his pockets He had money cigarettes lighter. The Brit checked it out and then said OK put the stuff back in your pocket and keep walking down the road with your hands on your head . Their was no rough treatment and the look of suprise on the Iraqis face when the Brit gave him his stuff back was amazement. I think they will be treated ok.

Apple Pie and Chevrolet
We hope that we can bring about again, as was beginning to develop in the 1960's before the Ba'ath party muked up the works, an Irar that is a " Modern Arab Society ".
The apple pie and Chevrolet quip is idiomatic of reversing relative deprivation in the land, e.g., give folks an opportunity to earn a living, good health care, schools, access to the political system, and the opportunity to enjoy a motorcar if they choose, and a well stocked kitchen.

Get along little doggie..
HiYa,
We need to free this set of people and make them secure as best. We need to give them the reighns and let them defend themselves. They need to construct an environment and control the destiny they have. Freedom is not cheap and they need to pay for it. We as American and British need to get out of that country as soon as possible and let them do the work so needed to defend and define themselves. It's amazing how many countries cannot defend themselves...just look at Europe for instance. CameoJoey |

HiYA, you must be Zeus, the one that is so high, and exulted that the sun actually shines out of your arse hole.
PS. exulted.....1, to show or feel a lively or triumphant joy; rejoyce exceedingly; be highly elated; be jubilant (fol. by in, at, over, or an infinitive): 'he exulted to find that he had won.' 2. Obs. to leap, esp. for joy. [and eat her]. [L 'ex(s)ultare, frequentative of 'exsilire' leap out or up] - exultingly, adv. |
