Poland requires visa for all Ukraine citizens

I submit this question to the board because I did read that because Poland is entering into the EU that by July 1, 2003 all Ukraine citizens will be required to obtain a visa to enter Poland.

Question:

1>Is this true?
2>Is the date correct?

I have been tring to find a link to a artical explaining the above or a doc. by the EU, can anyone help.

Yes it is.

I stand for it, because Ukrainian imigrants are at the moment serious problem for our still yet developing country.

Visas for Ukrainians are just another step for Polish comeback to stability and prosperity.
