Bush, Iraq, suppression of the press

There is a horrible event occurring in the world.. the New Romans, The New Nazis, The Americans... Many people are wondering what is really going on in the USA regarding the Bush Cabal. An american friend of mine sent me this site to view and I wish to share it with you and ask for feed-back.
Many many people DO NOT WANT WAR! but it seems like Bush et al are going for it anyway. This is EVERYONES' problem. Please , get involved.

The American People are being fooled by their leaders. It is important to get 'real' information to them. If you have American friends... please tell them, ask them, beg them... to read websites rather than newspapers. Zenja

I am an American and I want to say a few things in my peoples defense.

That is VERY true that a HUGE majority of Americans dont want to the war! In fact I just came from a NATIONAL PEACE RALLY to march against the war with 3 tour buses and 150 fellow high school and college students.
I feel very upset with my government because I feel that I am not being represented by them the way that I should. I feel that I am in a monarchy and not a democracy. I feel that my country shouldnt make all the major decisions in the world. Thats why we have the United Nations! I feel that they arent doing a sweal job either. We are SUPPOSED to UNITE to make decisions not have a king (America) do everything and make all the rules.
It is VERY much like the Roman Empire.
They rose, they conquered and they died along with their ego.
I'm so scared that people will hate me because of where I'm from when I travel. I love people from other countries and cultures...they're like a breath of fresh air.
To be friends with them is to better understand my country and myself.
PLEASE believe that my countrymen DO NOT want this war. We want to help our brothers and sisters of the Middle East. We are aware that this is a sticky situation. Please spread the word that we do in fact do care and we are not going to stop protesting until this is over. We will scream for PEACE until it arrives.
Please dont judge us for what out government has chosen to do.

We just want to love and be loved.

The USA tendency for war is terrible.
Iraq and north Korea will be only the first ones.
Without taking into account any advices from U.N. they (USA) would be completely out of control.
They need war to forget about their internal problems.
Peace is nothing for them, as they are mostly interested in taking fuel reservoirs under the control of US (Shell) and British Oil companies.
they are ready to sacrifice any quantity of human lives just to gain the dominance and global control.
Bush is a agressor.

thank you very much for the post. It reflects accurately what i have heard from so many of my American friends. THEY don't want this stupid war. THEY want to empower the United Nations! If the United Nations finds that Iraq is indeed a very dangerous and imminent threat to 'the world', then perhaps there would be justification for the American move, and I think, there would be support from other countries as well. As it is, it is plain that as Zhuk said... this is American Agression. It is about Oil Wealth, and to distract the folks back home from their own internal problems... not just their economy, but their declining world respect. AND, their declining, shall we say almost empty, oil fields.

I am afraid you are very correct when you say that the agression will not stop in Iraq. Currently America is making sweet sounds towards Iran and North Korea (they are SUCH liars and Manipulators) but when Iraq is destroyed they will move on to their next country of subjugation. Why is it considered okay for the USA to have every concievable weapon of mass destruction, but, no other country should be allowed? Of course. They want absolute power. They want the world to look like America. (except without the wealth). I find it all very depressing, because althought the American People themselves are speaking out, very LOUD, against this situation, they are not heard by THE ADMINISTRATION. The administration is Hell bent on doing whatever they want, whenever they want, with or without the support of allies or the UN. I feel powerless to stop the war machine. However, I will keep doing what I can, knowing that it is all that I can do.
