The problems in Israel/Palestine are very complex and to attempt to simply them into 'who's right and who is wrong'.. is a hopeless quest. So I will just give my opinion, knowing that it is only an opinion... not claiming anything beyond that.
I believe there should be a Palestinian state, and that Israel is opposing that creation, and creating more confrontation with it's continued policy of 'new settlements' in the West Bank. Of course the Palestinians feel 'invaded' and 'occupied'.
They have very little means of 'striking back'... no army to speak of, no powerful political allies, no real 'government' to look to for support or to carry their message... what can they do? They can send human bombers into Israel and blow people up. I cannot see this aas you put it "a viable solution". It is no solution at all.
However, it has brought International Concern to the issues and from that point of view, it may be serving some use. (at the terrible expense of both Palestinian lives and Jewish lives... not to mention increasing the Legacy of Hatred in the region... thus making it more and more difficult to achieve peace.
Also , it would be helpful if the Palestine leadership (I include Arafat, Hamas, etc etc - all power brokers in the area) would stop saying that they want to push Israel into the sea.. that Israel has no right to exist.
It would also help if the USA would put as much force into the resolution of the Israeli/Palestine crisis as it is currently putting into the 'Iraq Regime Change' (God help the Iraqi citizens).
The only solution I can see at present ( a partial solution) is the immediate creation and protection of a Palestine state. No matter how big or how small... something to legitimize the existence of the Palestininans. A base, within which to create a stable government; an internationally recognized governmet.

1 - its allow for the jews to cheat not jew
2 - its allow for the jew to lie at non jew
3 - its even allow for jew to kill non jew
4 - if non jew fall in awell dont help him he is aservent (slave) as they called it in there bloody book.
at the end of time each jew will have 70 servant from non jew (like you and me) thats what they believe
these adays there is elecetion in israel ,one of there head relgous men called ouvadia bin yuosef ,he promised his supporter the 5th step in heaven each of them will have an angel waiting for him there if they vote for him......how crasy is that (the idea is look the way they think)
the age of the conflict is 50 years ,the security councle reslution says east jeruslam is occupied land and israel must withdraw from the east side of palestine thats since 1948 ..till now they didnt withdraw(note iraq doesnt iplement security councle reslution ..look what happiend to them 500,000 iraqi chiled died each year cause of this bloody sanction) for god sake ..this is what i called legalised terrorism)

Thank you Eternity for your response. You have outlined some of the major problems that stand in the way of any peaceful resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian situation.
One thing I must say: Do not lump all Jewish people together simply because SOME are radicals. There are many Jewish people who are working hand in hand with Palestininans. The is even a political party in Israel 'the Unity Party' , that is made up of Jews and Arabs. Of course some Jewish religious zealots are calling for extreme measures against the Palestinians and there are also some radical Arabs calling for the mass destruction/eradication of Israel. And there are radical Muslims who believe (and are told by their religious leaders) that they will go to Heaven and sit with Allah , and have 70? beautiful women in their personal harem, if they become 'Holy Warriors' and go out and kill Jews. This is why young Palestinians can allow themselves to become human bombs.
There are atrocities (and atrocious people) on both sides. AND, there are reasonable, and educated people on both sides.
ALSO,
be careful about lumping all Americans into one pile of sh_t. Again, there are 'good and educated Americans'.. who are fighting like hell to stop the madness surrounding the Iraq war question, and there are 'ignorant, hawkish, Imperialist, Nationalistic IDIOTS' who want the war .. no matter what. These are the people who go around saying "My country, Right or Wrong"...
Inside of every nation, and every religion, there are good people and not so good people... or.. another way of putting it... people we agree with and people we disagree with. No group is 'homogenous'. We cannot judge all Jews by the actions of 'some' of them. Nor can we Judge the American people by the actions of their current administration.
For the record: One aide to Prime Minister Chretien was overheard by the press to say "Mr. Bush is a moron." Our prime Minister, Mr. Chretien, had to let her go... but I believe he, and many others, agree with him. Personally I agree with all that you said about Mr. Bush. I intensely dislike the current American Administration... such profound ignorance... such profound LIARS as you say...

try to remember that many average American people oppose him, vilify him, protest against him, and are doing everything in their power to stop his head-long rush into a war with Iraq... which, as every reasonable person knows.. will bring only pain and suffering to the people of Iraq.

I am totally and intensely hateful towards Saddam Hussein. For all the reasons you provided. Yes, I know that it was the older Bush and previous American administrations that brought him to power.
The Americans (like other super powers before them) have interfered in so many countries, in so many disgusting ways.. that it is easy to hate them... again... I have to remind myself constantly to not lump ALL AMERICANS into one piece of poop. Do not forget the number of Americans who opposed the Vietnam War and were punished for it.

i do agree totally with you,i am not racest..and never judged people or nation cause they are jew or they are comunist,i believe there is god (creater and he is going to judge all his slaves)
but what really gets me to see the truth in the left eye (iraq problems with united nation ) and ignore israel problems with united nation (in the right eye)
