why is it that when I log on all I read is a bunch of people saying Ukraine should once a agian nurse at the teet of Russia.

Those of us who are of Ukrainian disent and live in the US spend half of our natural born lives explaing to poeple that we are not Russians and then I log on and all I read is we need Russia to make us strong. Only Russia can help our economy.

Not only are these post dishartening but they are misguided. Why on God's earth would anyone think Russia is the key to an economic recovery. You don't have to subgetate yourself to Russia in order to engage in commerce with her.

I agree. After 3 trips to Ukraine, I see a rich beautiful country that can trade with the World, with little need to suckle at Russia's teet.
