Russia-Belarus-Ukraine Parliamentary Union Established

Representatives of Russian, Belarus and Ukrainian parliamentary unions have established and inter-parliamentary deputies▓ union ⌠For Unification of Russia Belarus and Ukraine■ √ Zubr (Bison). A founding congress of the union took place in the Belarus town of Grodno on Monday. The union has a goal to promote the restoration of the union between Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and also protection of their geo-political interests. The foundation congress adopted Moscow as a city where the headquarters of the new union will be located and Russian was adopted as a working language.

I would prefer Ukraine to draw closer to Europe !

me too... I think closer ties with Poland, Romania, Slovakia would be better... but Russia and Belarus will alwys be there tomorrow, so better work with em.

This is terrible news. I agree that Ukraine should head for the West (all the countries listed, plus Hungary) instead of seeking for protection from Russia. I know that it is tough, since the vast majority of our resources come from Russia. But still. This "union" sounds fishy to me.
