Kuchma decided to invite Anatolij Kinah for the place of a new Prime Minister, will he be like similar to Oleksandr Lazarenko? O,el'chenko worned Kuchma not to make the same mistake twice (about Lazarenko).
Does anyone have a particular oppinion on Kinah as a candidate? |

it is decided!
![]() KIEV, Ukraine (AP) - President Leonid Kuchma said Tuesday he will name the head of Ukraine's business lobby, Anatoliy Kinakh, as the country's new prime minister. Kuchma announced he would submit Kinakh's candidacy to parliament on Tuesday. Kinakh, who was a deputy prime minister from 1995 to 1996, is the head of the country's Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. The appointment, replacing acting Prime Minister Viktor Yushchenko, requires parliamentary approval. Last month the Communist-dominated chamber ousted Yushchenko's reformist Cabinet in a vote of no confidence. |

Oops it appears there is a duplicate of this thread happening. Oh well.
Kinakh to me seems to be a bit weak footed under his early statements, but I feel it's far too early to draw a serious conclusion, as he is wisely playing to both camps. Kinakh's statements did seem to bow a little too low to the hard line commies. Give the commies an inch and the b@stards will slit your throat. I am watching closely. |
