Poroshenko & Yatsenyuk are looking to achieve this much more quickly but have the huge disadvantage. Poland's transition took place while Russia was on its knees and powerless to stop it.

Putin is pulling all the strings he can to crush Ukraine's aspiration.
Wrong.... it is baseless assumptions as usual.

Just because you are opposed to *these* reforms, it doesn't automatically mean one is against gradual reforms. Far from it. But, the way she worded it, you are only a troll or a Ukrainian who thinks it's going too slowly (no middle ground, no alternative viewpoint). This is actually really dangerous and it's good if this type of thinking isn't prevalent among the political establishment - but, then, maybe it is.

Yatsenyuk it already veering towards the 'totalitarian' perspective. He doesn't think a referendum should be used for the electorate. He is against the referendum that happened in Greece (notwithstanding, that the result didn't even matter, to be honest - what the people voted for got disregarded, anyway). So, politicians who think reforms are going 'well' - that is a matter of opinion. Ukrainians are justified to be very concerned and it's wise to speculate on this sham and pretense of 'reforms.'

Tony Blair's return to UK politics?

Brexit could be halted if the British people decided the costs of leaving the EU greatly outweighed any benefits, Tony Blair has said in an interview marking his self-proclaimed return to political activity.
