Lawmakers permit young lawyers to occupy prosecutor positions

Under the existing law, only experienced prosecutors can be promoted to higher positions in the system. This procedure actually amounted to the emergence of a tightly-knit community in prosecution, authors of the bill stressed.

The new law opens the way to young and corruption-free lawyers to high positions in the system, Ruslan Knyazevych said, introducing the bill.

In this way, the prosecution can be purged of corrupt officials, he said.

Axe hanging over Lviv prosecutor

Rada lawmaker and former volunteer battalion CO Volodymyr Parasiuk demands the resignation of Lviv prosecutor’s office chief saying he has a corrupt past, UNN reports Jan. 3.

Writing in Facebook, V. Parasiuk says, “The activists paid a visit to the newly appointed Lviv oblast prosecutor Roman Fedyk. We warned him and gave an ultimatum – his immediate and voluntary resignation.

If he ignores our demand, he will face lustration (purging) by the people.

Such officials as Fedyk who have a corrupt past have no right to work in law enforcement. We are building a new country, honest and independent,” Parasiuk writes.

Roman Fedyk was appointed to head Lviv oblast prosecutors on Dec. 24, 2014.

Before, he occupied the similar position in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Hannia only posts 'postive' articles which is propaganda in itself.

Ukraine's most recent Kiev government, which is broke, wants to expand the military budget... read the articles especially the last two for one of the reasons why:

TASS: World - Ukraine’s 2015 military budget to double — defense minister

Defense Ministry wants Hr 50 billion budget in 2015

About 20-25% of Defense Ministry money stolen - Biriukov| Ukrinform

Kyiv: Ministry of defence of Ukraine stolen 20-25% of the funds

' KYIV, January 6 /Ukrinform/. About 20-25% of money allocated to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry is currently being stolen.

Presidential advisor and assistant to the defense minister Yuriy Biriukov has said this on Channel 5, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"According to estimates, about 20-25% of money is stolen now," Biriukov said.

He noted that the military prosecutor's office should be responsible for the restoration of law and order in the ministry. But there is also "total corruption" there, Biriukov added.'

Great work on corruption control and reform, Yats and Poroshenko, Chocolate King!

Thats great news. The only bad thing I see mentioned in that article is some school closures. But they're in rural areas so it doesn't pay off. Maybe in due time they'll be able to reopen.

Tkach.

Your credibility is in question. I would really hate to think that someone with even an ounce of Ukrainian blood (as you claim) is a paid kremlin gremlin. but it is looking like it. It has already been pointed out to you that your 'independent media" and "social media" sources are known Rossisky propaganda avenues, which are intentionally based on faulty assumptions.

Your posting techniques incorporating faulty logic are recognized by pr specialists as tells. What that means is that you have become transparent !

Okay, whatever.

Who made you 'Chief' judge of propaganda? LOL. So, my Ukrainian roots are in question because you disagree with my points? Haha... you should try standup.

Sure, some sources are Russian. Just as you choose ONLY pro-Maidan, Western sources that you post on a continuing basis. So what? They'll be biased, too. The recent one was including a quote by a Government minister in Ukraine that has reported theft in the military budget. So, I am sure you could find a similar article by a pro-Maidan/pro-Kiev-government/Western source. He did say so publicly. Perhaps, the Russian sources want to utilize the news for propaganda purposes? That's not my intent. I was illustrating the corruption in the Government. Plain and simple.

But, your accusations are hilarious. If you want, or can find someone who wants to, I can provide my Ukr. family ancestry info and you can go investigate. I always appreciate and enjoy to learn more specific details about my roots. I don't think you have special powers that can change it from Ukrainian, though. Sorry about that. :

P.S. I think I've cited EuroMaidan Press here, before.

For the fourth time. How much time have you spent in Ukraine to acquire these views?
