Mini altercation between Yushchenko and protestor

Happened in January when Yushchenko was called back about his poisoning. A "protester" held signs and shouted things that didn't make the ex-President too happy. Yushchenko shouted back, rightfully so. I just find this an interesting altercation, maybe you will too.

Channel 5 covered this best, as always. It found out that the "protesters" just happen to get close to Tymoshenko (supporting her) multiple times.

This clip shows the beginning of the altercation which was edited out of the first clip.

In case you don't understand Ukrainian it went something like this:
  • The "protester" tried to get Yushchenko's attention while holding up the sign.
  • Yushchenko asks him to put the sign down and speak civilly.
  • The "protester" begins to speak informally addressing the President ("you" informal).
  • Yushchenko corrects him (with "you" formal) while always addressing the "protester" formally.
  • The "protester" calls Yushchenko "paskuda" which means ugly, referring to his face.
  • Yushchenko says he gave him the right to speak that way. Sends best wishes to the party that paid the "protester" to stand there. Says children will curse him. Says he looks that way because of him.
  • "Protester" says "you ate sushi and drank vodka".
  • Yushchenko asks what sushi. Tells the "protester" to read some normal newspapers.
  • "Protester" says he knows everything.
