charges against opposition
I wonder how many charges against the opposition can be registered? I suppose the sky is the limit! Then do we begin to see charges against POR and oligarcs? I understand the constitution states that if you have a criminal record, you can not run for parliament. Why bother having a constitution? No one seems to abide by it.

Well, they should all be arrested. Unfortunately Yanu is doing it for the wrong reasons, as such, he wont have himself or any of his pals arrested.

Ukraine's Rada, a comedy item?
Watching a British television review of some of the most humurous video clips recorded during the past year, I was saddened to see that that the fighting and egg throwing in the Rada was shown as a comedy item. Not only does this discredit Ukraine's political system, but it helps maintain the illusion amongst the Brits, that theirs "is the finest parliamentary system in the world".

Just a curiosity about Britain.....how is it that anyone from any country can go to Britain and file charges that have nothing to do with Britain, yet they try the cases. I am curious why Britain allows people they know stole from other countries to live in opulance in the country side. What jurisdiction do they have to take liable cases by someone from one country against another in their home country that has nothing to do with Britain? Still trying to figure some of this out

British judicial system
I apologise for being off topic, but to respond to sjoyce:-
Sorry I can't help you with this question, I have always viewed the British legal system as a means through which I can be prosecuted for a motoring, or any other alledged offence and not much else. I think there's some poli-speek somewhere in our not a constitution sort of constitution about justice for all. However, if you can't afford the lawers or barristers and your prosecutors can, you're not likely to experience this true justice. Perhaps that's the answer to your question, if you can pay the for the legal guys in wigs and robes, any kind of court action is possible. |
