Thanks Gotno for your reply. I guess my curiosity is how is it Britain and British law can prosecute people from say Mexico for something that happened in Spain. Britain does not have jurisdiction over either country. Or how is it the oligarcs go to Britain to enforce laws concerning happenings in Ukraine or Russia.

It wouldn`t be in a crimnal court so as such not a prosecution, the action would be in a civil court where one party would be in effect sueing the other, this could be for instance for "defamation of character" or for slander or liable.
