Kuchma places blame
Today in the Kyiv Post there is a story of L. Kuchma placing the blame for the death of Gongadze on international sources. He states that the CIA were present the day of the Gongadze death. Why now? Is someone or something getting close to revealing the real truth about the murder of this young man? Without a free press there is no democracy. Obviously, with all the mouthings about democracy, it is a bunch of rhetoric to keep the west happy.

Joyce,
You should let your local politicians know what is going on in Ukraine. W/Hillary Clinton's approval, the IMF just handed over a huge bundle to Yanukovich. She publicly cautioned him that these funds were contingent on him being a good boy. AND THAT HE HAS NOT BEEN. _______________________________________________________ Kuchma is not all that happy w/Yanukovich, especially of of late. He has been in the press a lot lately, criticizing the constitutional infringement plays. _______________________________________________________

Hannia: I have been writing to my members of parliament and also the Prime Minister. There is concern here as to what is happening in Ukraine. We have a large number of Ukrainian people living here and they are becoming more vocal. Don't know if any of it will work.

Joyce,
We can only do what we can. It is well worth our effort, whether it gets to the right eyes or not. THE MORE OF US THAT WRITE OUR POLITICIANS, THE MORE ATTENTION WE WILL GET. The Internet makes it real easy to do so. _________________________________ PS>Joyce, for some strange reason, I thought you were in Upstate New York>USA.
