US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, to visit Ukraine July 4-5

Call me crazy, but would it not be more appropriate to be in her home country on its Independence Day?

Hillary Clinton to visit Ukraine July 4-5

Quote:
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryshchenko held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the initiative of the latter, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

During the talk, the Secretary of State confirmed her intention to pay an official visit to Ukraine on July 4-5 this year. During the visit, she is to meet with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and other high officials. The foreign ministers noted mutual interest in deepening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States of America. They also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries, and the most topical issues on the international agenda.

She's a democrat, they're not proud to be in America!

But seriously, maybe she'll remove the visa restrictions for Ukrainians, that'd be awesome! I'd even vote for her.

Unhappy

I remember her coming to Lviv years ago as President's wife and speaking at a meeting near a newly inaugurated monument to Bolshvevik Victims. At first her car nearly ran over me when I was crossing a road. Then I decided to test her bodyguards ( more than a dozen of them as I saw after the meeting when they were congratulating each other 'Well done'). I approached her to a distance of about 2 meters and put out an umbrella out of my bag abruptly - NONE OF THE BODGUARDS STIRRED.

My grandpa told me he wasn't too far away from her that time and he yelled out "Slava Clintonam". She smiled when the translator told her what it meant.

With that said, she is a liar and her visit will mean nothing good for Ukraine. Would not be surprised if she convinces Yanu to give something else up on behalf of Ukraine.

politicians and honesty..........now there is a noble trait for you, if only there were such a thing. Politics and compromise go hand in hand, unfortunately Ukrainians keep compromising and compromising while elected officals keep stealing and stealing. Hillary Clinton is making the rounds, shaking hands and doing photo opprotunities however it is yet to be seen how much good she can do for Ukraine.
