The Abuses of those in Authority/ Establishment

You may be aware of the current scandal concerning Roman Catholis priests who have sexulally abused children under whilst under their control.
I see a comparison in the behaviour of the Roman Catholic church with that of the British Members of Parliament who have been found fraudulently claiming on their expenses.
Once firm evidence of gross misdemeanor amongst its ranks is unveiled, the institutions attempt to minimise or obscure the true realisation of what has been done.
In both cases it appears obvious that these preists, like the expenses fraudster politicans, have abused their trusted positions within what was previouly respected institutions. In both cases they display an attitude that seems to put themselves above the expectations of those that they are supposed to serve.

Continuation of Priests Sexual Abuses Saga

An interesting story from my favourite Guardian newspaper concerning the covering up of the priest's sexual abuses by the Vatican.
