Yes and Tymoshenko has criminal record too. Nevertheless popularity of Yanukovich stably floats around 30%. Obviously we will have two rounds of elections. If Yanukovish and Tymoshenko will get into second round, I will vote for Yanukovisch.

And reason is this politician is supported by strongest Ukrainian party. As about Yatsenuk so he seems to be a sole politician. He still has not developed or well promoted party. I have a lot of doubts about his true ranking too because I don’t believe in honest sociology. Let’s say in January his ranking was around 3% and two months later it grew up to 14%. He has not post now so he does nothing and he doesn’t affect anything. He gave a dozen of interviews, appeared in few political shows and behold! He suddenly got ranking of Julia who spent 5 years to get it.

However I suggest combination similar to Hilary-Obama trick. Yushchenko and Yatsenuk will compete in first round of elections and if Yatsenuk really will get so many votes, Yushchenko will give him his share because win will be more probable. I can’t exclude vice versa though.

Actually Ukraine is safe. For first quarter of 2009 level of unemployment makes only 3,2%. There are prognosises it can make 7% or 9% for entire 2009 but these are only forecasts. I also know demand for work reduced but it still exists on good level.

Max_the_Highlander,

I think we can agree that both Yulia and Yanukovich are bad for Ukraine. I don't trust any of them. I think Putin like her now more than Yanukovich.

Here is the thing. You might think this is lame but I think I would rather vote for Yulia because she at least speaks Ukrainian. If Yanukovich wins, no doubt russian will become an official language. With Yulia there is still a chance.

But I don't even want to think about that. Yushchenko and Yatseniuk all the way.
