Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has expressed...

Only look at it! Our Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has expressed satisfaction with the recent decision of UN International Court of Justice on the status of our Snake Island! The court has concluded that this island cannot be considered in favor of Ukraine during section of the continental shelf, which is rich of oil! Only think of it! Our authorities applaud decision, according to which Snake Island “has no influence on the possible expansion of our exclusive economic zone”! It means that our present leadership is glad that the longstanding controversy around this island between our Ukrainian state and Romania has been decided in favor of Romania! And it has happened after several years of our increased development of this territory!
To all seeming Yuschenko’s team has decided to settle its accounts with US and EU sponsors in such a way. In other words, our so quick divestment of oil-rich territory is Yuschenko’s payment for Ukraine’s future entry into NATO and EU. Although it will be better to say – Ukraine’s possible joining NATO and EU, because during Yuschenko’s untalented ruling this process is even highly improbable…

Many disagree that the decision was actually not in Ukraine's favor. But it is more a political matter, it would seem.
