I still think it is a private contractor becuase they can employ various nationalities with different speacilties.

I am not dening there were ukrainian military instructors, but i think they would have showed them how to use and maintain the equipment and then go back to ukraine.

Also some recent news

Russian captured 20 georgian soldiers in the port city of Poti after they were trying to deliver back american made humvees to the U.S. And Russia still has not withdrawn after its third peace agreement. hint hint hint.......Nato. Take some military action.

it was a joke.

and they wouldn't because Georgia as of yet is not part of Nato.

also i would like to point out, that generally western ukrainians don't like Russia.

Also i want to point out that it was not long ago, that Russia planted a flag on a canadian ice shelf and claim it as its territory.

Lemko, as all normal people westernukrainians don't like backwards whome we had negative expirience with. Note, Lvivske didn't mention Russians.

And what guys do you think about forecoming international isolation of Russia? The Medvedev must be silly guy to pay such price for those "republics". They leave NATO committee, the WTO now is also unavailable for them, investors leave Russia... and having such hard situation they begin to stop our dry milk as usually.

Will this country be isolated as at times of cold war?

yes I have noticed.

I don't think so, not yet anyways. They also failed to gain support of the Asian coalition as well. Which is a big blow since those are one of its biggest trading partners.

I think once Nato absorbs Ukraine and Georgia that Russia will become more isolated. But i dont know.

What do you guys think?

I know I'll get flamed for this but I'll say it anyway.

Russia was itching for a fight, if they were peace keepers they should NOT have used force against people in another sovereign state. Take note that Russia has its own problems in that area namely Chechnya and the neighbouring area in which a critic of Russia was recently shot in the head in public view while being put in a police car.

Also note that no-one but Russia in world affairs mentioned a new cold war, its almost like they want one.

Oh and Ukraine may have trouble soon in Crimea cause Russia has military instillations there.
