Will Obama be the President and why?

I think Sarah Palin is an ideal choice for McCain. He knew what he was doing.

She is an inspiration to many. She has an 80% approval rating and has overcome any problem that she was faced with.

Barack Obama is out of this now. It's just between McCain and Bob Barr. ;-)

well i have been looking at obama's campaign.
found some things interesting

I like obamas platform and find very few discrepencies. But i guarentee you more taxes are coming if he wins.

he is not going to initialize national healthcare that will be free, he will provide healthcare to families that want it. (thats good because i am against socialized medicine, i dont care what any of you say it doesnt work)

wants to create more competition amongst drug companies (thats good, lowers medication prices)

He wants to expand the military. 65,000 army and 27,000 marines

make immigration harder for mexico and try to help improve work in mexico.

Wants destroy all nuclear weapons and try to work with russia on ending nuclear weapons jointly.

wants to fight aids and stabalize somalia(good luck with that one-somalia) somalis like being under anarchy.

wants to raise minimum wage and create more jobs- (that doesnt make any sense to me, if you raise minimum wage you lose jobs or at least hours to work)

there is more, but these were the issues i was interested in. i will post mcCains laters.

Okay, now let me tell you how everything about him doesn't make sence.

1) Yes, more taxes. I'm sure he's gonna flip flop on that soon enough.
2) I like the idea about healthcare for those who want it. I don't think there should be healthcare for all because that will make us pay for others.
3) You can't create competition amongs drug companies unless you are a drug company.
4) He doesn't know anything about the millitary.
5) I don't think its possible to make make immigration harder for a nation. Thats not 21st centry. He also has nothing to do with improving work in Mexico. What we need is a fence.
6) He wants to work with russia - he lost my vote. Anyone who wants to work with russia is crazy. Especially on nuclear weapons.

true, but he can give money to little drug companies to compete with bigger ones or break up big ones. taxes!!!!!

Well, he could help sponsor by creating jobs in mexico. taxes!!! He doesnt want to give illegals here more citizenship, i believe but not sure.

also i think that everyone should have to go through immigration just like our families had to do. And our families didnt have the best of lives either.

well im not a russian fan either. I dont think that he will be able to end nuclear weapons because we will never know if Russia actually gave them up their nuclear weapons program. But i am for getting rid of them because they are dangerous and can end humanity.

First lets count how many times taxes were mentioned, thats definatly Change We Can Believe In ;-)

3) Giving money to some drug companies and taxing / taking away money from others does not create competition. That is not what America is based on and that is not fair competition.

5) Look, i'm all for fair imigration. I think that everyone should be documented and have to go through the same procedures we went through. But just as he can't create jobs here, he cant create jobs there. The only job that you can create is to give Mexicans a one day visa to go mow someones lawn. I know that sounds racist, but its the truth.

6) Think about it this way. If russia can attack nations without Nuclear Weapons, then who cares if there are no nuclear weapons. McCains stance on the Georgian war was the best. End of story.

Here is Obama's vision. The world can be a perfect place, because after all money can buy everything. It would be ideal for all of us to just have someone else pay for all of our needs, but that will never/should never happen.

Obama will help a group of people out. That group is people who refuse to work. Refuse to follow the law. And people who just sit around all day on there front porch complaining about everything. Well, thats a small percentage of people, but we will be the ones making their lives perfect, at our expense.
