Guys and what's new about Obama? I see Americans have some shelter while both candidates prepare for real battle, the big Presidential race.

However some news are funny. Is the buzz around Obama & Wife caricature in Muslim decorated White House still on? The picture is really hilarious. I think we could publish it here, if copyrights allow this.

Recently McCain made some strong anti-Kremlin statements. I even find them a bit excessive but it is natural for veteran of Vietnam. The answer of Kremlin supposes the relations between the US and Russia may go down to zero if McCain will be elected.

Such position is even harder then George Bush approach. Is it considered in America as plus of McCain or his another minus?

McCain doesn't trust the Kremlin because he was in a pow camp for 6 years and was tortured everyday.

Russia with Putin and mvendev have become more nationalistic and imperialistic which scares the U.S. The U.S. is imperialistic but not really nationalistic.

But Russia should be happy anyways with us becuase with our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan we keep the flow of foreign fighters down in chechnya.

Yes we know the story but... really everyday?

In fact this is not so good because I suspect old plate in his head can begin to play again... and who knows what it will be now.

However, McCain is known as big Ukraine loyalist. From out subjective position the Ukraine loyalist is just perfect President of US. However now when US has economical difficulties - is it so wise to look for stronger and stronger enemies as Islamists, China and Russia? With all respect but America could not handle such monstrous load.

Russia is not nationalistic, it's chauvinistic. But I still confident it's not too dangerous. It's just creates problems.

McCain's fear of Russia may have roots in Vietnamese tortures not in current situation since his accusations are a bit... childish. Russians killed the former own spy in London. Big deal!

The world watches adventures of James Bond in movies and enjoys them.

They turned off the democracy? Completely voluntary since the support of Medvedev-Putin group is wide and sincer.

That spy was trying to tell the world that Russian secret service, (I think FSA not sure) released a al queda member. Don't you think it is odd that Russia released Al queda number 2 and trained him?

It is unlikely that the U.S. will ever be in a war with China and Russia. One reason is 100% of our stuff is made in the Southeast Asia and second we do not have enough troops. The only thing we could really do is bomb them, but that would be a disaster since China and Russia have better 4th generation fighter planes. Its true that we have 5th generation stealth but not a lot of them.

What you are talking about is what i call spheres of influence. Russia does not want to give up Ukraine as a sphere of influence, why because Russia makes money when you buy their stuff. Spares for t-72s, migs and sukhois of the Ukrainian military benefit their economy.

You have to understand that some people grew up hating, saying i hate communist, communist, and communist. What he might see is the old days, but i really don't know. Russia is trying to expand their markets leaving central asia and former cccps to look in south america and Asia.

But i doubt McCain will try to fight Russia our main goal is to destroy fundmental islamism. From what i have seen it is Russia's goal too, since they are still fighting in Tajikistan, Dagestan, and chechnya.

All i can say is they kind of did. They tried democracy under yeltsin and it didn't work for them and their economy is booming ever since putin was in office that is why the like the united russian party.

Barack Obama on Monday called for tapping into strategic oil reserves as part of his plan to provide relief from high gas prices.

Barack Obama says he has a plan to reduce the country's dependence on foreign oil.

Obama has previously said he was opposed to using the strategic reserves, but on Monday he proposed selling 70 million barrels of oil from the reserves in order to lower gas prices.

This story is so tangled and there are so many politic speculations around… I personally don’t believe in tales about Russia trained Al Q members since many terror acts in Russia were promoted by Al Q.

Russian intelligence is named FSB in Russian pronunciation or Federal Service of Safety. Yes I think they really murdered that spy although they deny this. But by definition a spy should be ready to be deleted, by enemies or by own chiefs. This is usual thing. To lament about a spy’s death is same as to lament about death of a sapper, it just can happen in every second.

Yes and they have nuclear weapon too.

It’s a sort of true but things are not so two-dimensional. They buy our stuff too and buy much. Ukraine is very strategically important country, our sympathies mean a lot so I understand Russian jealousy. European and American influences which are strong here too also do not consist of only advantages.

Yes I understand but at the moment Russia has not any relation to communism. The China has. Russian communists were in hard opposition to Putin and now they are in same hard opposition to Medvedev. The radical left-wing is something irrelevant to modern Russia.

I completely agree with McCain about Russian democracy now is only fiction. He is right about that. The question is why did he suppose Americans have to do something about it?

As real witness of the process I state Russians blamed “democrats” yet in Eltsin period. They wanted the “strong hand” when their elections were really clean. This political frost was desired by Russians and that’s why I can’t see the ways Americans can heal them again as it was in nineties.
