NATO is not run by U.S.A.

NATO simply means deffence in case of attack on another member. Everything is agreed apon equally.

Defense in case of attack on another member? They've never enacted Article 5 yet many shots have been fired.

Admiral Giampaolo Di Paola, former Chief of the Italian Defense Staff assumed today the position of Chairman of the NATO Military Committee and the last guy was a Canadian general and that happened today.

Its headquarters is in belgium and the first NATO Secretary was General Lord Ismay(British)

Current secretary general is Jaap de Hoop Scheffer(Dutch)

so no american command that i see and its headquarters is in brussels.

I hope no offence will be taken because that is not what i intended.
