correct. They gave them back to Russia to appease the U.S. and other western nations.

But their long range conventional missles are more than capable of disabling a nuclear site.

Ukraine has some 120 scud launchers and 75 ss-21s launchers.

russian missle silo looks like this

with 5 holes like this one and point nukes wherever they want.

Not trying to be anti-russian. But if Russia is going to point nukes at Ukraine for joining Nato as it stated in the article, I think we should point missiles back.

Also foreseeing dire ramifications to the move was Kremlin's threats, in February, that it would aim nuclear warhead at Ukraine if Kiev joins NATO

Okay, thats what I thought.

As far as I understand US and russia were very friendly when they wanted to nuclear arms off our hands, once we lost the nuclear, we lost US support.

yeah, sort of, I am not sure actually what support was given. Supposedly Russia, gave an incentive package to get those nukes back. Like they gave Ukraine fighter planes or somthing.....not sure.

I don't support NATO involvement. Why go under American command?

NATO has already made clear they have no respect for national sovereignty.

this is just bad diplomacy

how about this to get Ukraine to not join
