Smile Photos of Tureczki Nizne

Hello, my name is Laurence and I live in France, I search for photos of the village of Tureczki Niżne Ukraine. It is located 11km from Turka, and 4km from the Polish border.

In advance, thank you.

THis village is now named Nyzhniy Turiv.
I have been there. This is a scenic Boiko village. An ancient wooden belfry has survived. Unfortunately, I have no photos.
If I travel in that direction again I will be sure to have my camera with me.

Have you heard of Ukrainian ethnic groups - Lemkos, Boikos, Hutsuls living in Carpathians?
This village is located in the Turka district - one of Boikos centres

Hello Irene, I had not ever heard the name Boiko, I searched a bit online and I read that "Boikos was a distinctive group of Carpathian Mountains." I do not know how they live.
I wish you a good day.

It has about 100 houses - 400 to 500 people.
I think its population was above 1000 in the early 20th c prior WWI, emigration, deportation, and other trials and tribulations
