friend in Kiev

I am an American living in western Ukraine, I am coming to visit Kiev this summer, I would like to me a local girl who would like to show me Kiev. I am photographer so maybe it would be cool to meet another photographer and go on a photo shot of Kiev.

Do you want to meet a local girl only for purpose of showing you Kiev or for purpose of marrying her afterwards :-)

You may want to use dating services then in Kiev, there are many dating agency - I personally recommend you this one

I have met lots of "Ukrainian Brides" in California and other place. A few Russian and Belarus "Brides" as well. Not ONE of them was in a happy marriage. Several seemed to be in a "slavery till you get your green card" situation.

I have a real interest in Slavic culture and Ukrainian culture.

I made it to Kiev and met some very nice people at the Larger University libraries. I am most likely relocating half way between where I am now and Kiev so I can be in Kiev regularly.

There is no need to go to these agencies,.....walk down keiv center and sure lovely girls and good conversation u will make, i was happy to see that ukranians are open and friendly..

Well, odon is surely right but in a way. I'd say 80% you won't make a good and long conversation with "lovely" girls - they are becoming more independent and neutral and even negative to conversations and hitting on them by foreigners on the street - so I do think this is a very good idea.

For troutfishing I do not even know what to recommend as this is a non-standard situation, may be try some posting in a local Kiev newspaper like "KyivPost" and hopefully this post will attract some lady.
