Looks Like A Move To Kyiv For Me....

As a means of introduction, although Sphinx and I had a spirited discussion on a prior thread, my name is Jay. I currently live near Pittsburgh, PA and work as a meteorologist on a local tv station. A company in Kyiv a well known media firm is flying me over on 31 May so that they can get to know me better and then again for good later in June. So I have a busy month ahead....lots to do, least of which is break the news to my work that I am leaving, my ex-wife that I am going to pull up roots and move half a world away (not that she gives a crap). My 5 y/o daughter will however and that's another story but when she spends her first summer in Europe with me, she will have another view I believe....

Anyway the reason for my post, I am going to be in town for a week and I was curious if any locals or if any other American's were going to be around who would like to have a drink or some food some evening that week. I am staying in the centre....in the Gorodetskogo/Kreschatik street area. Anyhow, any input you could give regarding the move I would appreciate as well. I have visited several times and I can't tell you what the rest of the world is missing Kyiv and Ukraine are beautiful places both the landscape and the people. Thanks again, Jay...
