I've done this before, but I'll put it out there again. I am a 50 yr old attractive male, Ukrainian - American living near New York in search of a Ukrainian wife. No children, gainfully employed and am open to having children. My ideal match should be between 28-38 and Ukrainian speaking. My photo is available on my web site, the link to which you'll find below this post. I am also educated, well read and I love the arts. I consider myself a spiritual man, even though I do not attend church regularily.

Pryvit, Yuriy!
I'm not replying to your post as a potenial wife. I'm too young as for your ideal ![]() It's kind of funny, but at first I didn't realize you were the photographer whose photographs I enjoyed so much last week. I needed some pics of Ukraine, so I typed "images of Ukraine" in google.com, and it gave the whole bunch links to your pictures. My favorite one is with an old woman and her grandchild ![]() When we were talking on this site earlier...I never visited your site....oh well, it's really funny. I just wanted to say that I like your pictures a lot, especially those of Carpathian region, cuz that's where I am from. Keep it up! best, Gutsulka |

Pryvit Gutsulka
Hello Hutsulka!
What a pleasure to hear from you again. I remember that we had a common thread regarding our love and appreciation for Ukrainian things.I'm happy that my pictures gave you pleasure and that they turned up so prolifically in your search. As for what I stated as my ideal, nothing is written in stone, but if you'd like to communicate about issues that interest us both I'd be happy to stay in touch as a "znayomij." I am always happy to know new contacts in Ukraine. As far as I am concerned I can never have enough. As I have said before, I am planning an exhibit in Lviv at the Dziga gallery around this time next year. Things are still in the talking phase, but I have faith that it will get done.I may very well get down to Kolomiya around that time because I have a couple of znayomi there. I'd like to photograph that rajon to some degree. If we are still in touch at that time perhaps we can sit down over a cup of coffee. The picture of the old woman and child was taken in Bojkiwshchyna, in the village of Werkhnij Wiysotnij. I hope that transliterates into Ukrainian properly. I've exhibited these images in New York at the Mayana Gallery and it was also a traveling exhibit at the University of Des Moines in Iowa. There is an article about my exhibit, which took place back in 2001 at the site http://www.artukraine.com. I don't have the exact link handy, but I think that once you get there you can do a search. Thank you once again for your note Gutsulka. Feedback is always important for an artist, both good and bad. Wshoho Dobroho, Yura |

In response to your question, gathering from your website, we may have a few things in common. However, I am slightly older than your ideal lady.
If you are still interested in chatting, it will be my pleasure to forward my personal e-mail to your personal website, for the obvious reasons. Byvaite.....Ludmila |
