Beware of those Marriage Agencies from Ukraine

Something else I have not noticed before about Bystrikova web site. The prices! They are called RAPING!
Check this out:
1 Travel inside Ukraine -- 1,500$(my ticket from US and back costs less than that! Are they gonna fly people on private jets around Odessa or something?)

2. Interpreter 110$ per day.+ food+ travelexpences. That is a lot for interpreters in Ukraine!
Overall, It seems to me that someone from this Ukrainian agency is quite too familiar with Western prices...

I did not leave out Kherson out of my fav Ukrainian cities to visit on purpose! After mentioning those cities, I wrote "...etc..." I have been to Kherson before, and people there are just like any in the rest of Ukraine.

Yes, I have to agree on the marriage agencies in Ukraine - from Kiev to Odessa including the so-called reputable, large and popular agencies like AnastasiaDate.com, veronikalove.com, merrycherry.com, ukrainebrides.com and God knows how many thousands more. I had a shock when I went to Ukraine (twice) recently to find dating agency roadsigns in places like Deribasovskaya (famous Odessa tourist street) blatantly proclaiming 'meet Odessa brides' ! It is true so many of the agencies are nothing but filthy cheats out to scam Western or Asian men !
I met one cheat Nataliya Sergeevna Kolesnik (xxx_tasha@mail.ru and others) officially through AnastasiaDate (expensive charges)and the scam only started after we met in person many times - for money. It seems she has already cheated more than 35 men in this way. I sent several complaint letters (in Russian too) with all her details, passports, many photos, her scam partners, family, etc. to her university, internal ministry (police), Ukraine prosecutor general, interpol France and about 10 agencies in Odessa including AnastasiaDate. I only got vague replies from a few agencies (meaning 'just deleted profile') but absolutely nothing from the Ukrainian police ! The only consolation was the many thanks from some of the guys that were also scammed. Many women from Ukraine still haven't learnt anything yet despite being in the drudgery of communism for all those years !

Carsten, You need to become more aware of some of the better agencys if you continue this quest. It can and does work but you need to know how to sort the chaff from the wheat.

I am married to a girl I met in Odessa in 2004.

Stop screwing around on the sites. Get on a plane and GO. Its the only way you will ever know if the girl you are writing to is real. 2) NEVER send money to someone you do not know PERIOD. I don't care what the story is.... don't do it EVER.

Men fall into 3 categories. Yes, Maybe and Never. Never is "lets just be friends" Maybe means you haven't yet disqualified yourself and Yes means you are her type as long as you don't disqualify yourself. Once you get into the No camp you never get out of that camp with that girl. When a girl likes you SHE EXPRESSES IT PHYSICALLY.

Generally speaking most people have sex at some point between the 3rd and 5th date. I say that ONLY as a point of saying that if you are on a third date and there is no physical contact, something is not right. Meaning if she isn't interested in ACTING like she likes you, its because SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOU in that way.

I always have used the kiss test. If at the end of the second date a girl turns her head when I go to give her a kiss at the end of the date, I didn't pursue a 3rd date. If a girl isn't interested in expressing romantic feelings by the end of your second date, its probably never going to happen. Oh and ignore the pleathera of women that will tell you how wrong I am.... You pin them down and they will admit that if they really liked a guy they would have no problem giving him a kiss (peck) at the end of a second date. I assume your purpose is marriage... that means you should ONLY be seriously pursuing a girl who "really likes you" why would you ever want to get in a marriage oriented relationship with a woman who just sort of liked you. That's the fast track to divorce. With the US divorce laws AND the fact that YOU are financially responsible according to all those lovely papers you filed with USCIS to get her green card, you had better be marry a woman who is head over heels in love with you. Trust me, that kind of love doesnt happen because we've grown closer over time... that kind of love SHE KNOWS early on in the relationship. THAT is the women/girl you have to find.

The problem is that most men refuse to see reality. They instead see only what they desire. That is both stupid and dangerous. If your goal is to find a woman that you are attracted to, who will love you and treat you well then you have to change how you are looking at this. Instead of fixating on a photo focus your attention on finding the woman who LIKES YOU and happens to be attractive in your eyes. This means you are going to have to walk away from other women you mean that you find to be attractive but are not expressing genuine interest.

You can change how you approach this or you can get hurt.... worse yet, you can end up getting caught up with a gold digger who will lead you on (because you ignored all those red flags) and you will be frustrated because you cant understand why she tells you she cares about you but never EXPRESSES it physically to you like a normal girl would.

If she is really into you, you will have no doubts. Learn to listen to your gut. Her words have value when her actions are in alignment with what she is saying. If she is acting differently than her words TRUST HER ACTIONS. Marrying a girl from outside the US (assuming you're American) is a high risk deal. BE SURE.
