To discuss my opinions on sex would be opening a real can of worms. Even so, I must say that I admire the Thai's for not allowing politics and religion to get all tied up in the sex act, as has happened in my part of the world.

Several years ago, while dining in a Moscow restaurant, I layed eyes on an extraordinarily beautiful woman sitting a few tables away. She was perhaps 50 years old, give or take a year. Her eyes were very dark, made even more dramatic by her yellow hair which seemed to reflect every source of light in the room. She wore a simple but complimenting black evening dress accented with tastefully simple tortoise shell-on-gold costume jewelry. For some reason she looked in my direction, then looked away quickly. I was studying her nervous movements, playing with her napkin, sipping her drink, shuffling her feet under her chair. She was an older woman than I was typically attracted to in those days, yet she had a certain grace about her that drew my interest like a moth to a bonfire. I was absolutely smitten. She turned her gaze back in my direction, then she smiled -- a smile I'll never forget. Her teeth were all gold! I tell you, it knocked me for a loop.
The sun shines differently in Russia. And that ain't all.
