looking for Ukrainian pen-pal (po-ukrainskomu)

Hello all

I am new to this forum, and I am very happy to have found it. I am currently studying Ukrainian, as part of my training to serve in Ukraine. I am hoping to find someone (somebodies?) to chat/email with in Ukrainian. I will attend Lviv University in April and will be working in Kiev in the summer-fall.

Since you will attend Lviv University, my question is - What was your bases for this choice?

Well, it wasnt so much a choice on my part, as a part of my curriculum. The program I will attend is done in partnership with the University of Kansas. This program was selected because (was believed by those with the money) that it was the best place to study Ukrainian (vice in eastern Ukraine, where Russian is predominantly spoken.
